Learn About The Author

Joanne Balshi was born, raised and educated in Eastern Pennsylvania. She raised three children while teaching creative writing, free lancing in various mediums and collecting prizes for poetry.

Founder of B & B Medical Marketing, she has written scores of patient education brochures and served in editorial capacity for social, religious and healthcare newsletters.

Smile Your Heart Out is her first full length book. The intrinsic value of a smile is a subject with which she deals on a daily basis. As primary trustee for the Pi Foundation, she awards new smiles to applicants with dire dental conditions and limited financial resources. She has first hand experience with the euphoria that comes from having a perfect smile after years without one.

She lives with her husband in a historic home in Gwynedd, Pennsylvania amidst antique books and family pictures. Her favorite three smiles belong to Alexandra, Brandon and Benjamin Balshi, her three grandchildren. EMAIL JOANNE BALSHI
